Lower blepharoplasty (Lower lid lift)
Lower Blepharoplasty FAQ
Also known as lower blepharoplasty, lower eyelid surgery is a cosmetic procedure that can be performed to treat a number of concerns. Because the skin around the eyes is thinner than skin in other areas of the face, it is more susceptible to wrinkling, sagging, and puffiness. Lower eyelid surgery can address all of these concerns, and can help you achieve a more youthful appearance.

Procedure Overview
Lower Blepharoplasty Case Study

A 48-year-old woman presents complaining of lower lid bags and dark circles under her eyes.
On examination she appears to have excess fat protrusion in her lower lids, mild loss of lower lid skin elasticity, and loss of volume along the lower lid/cheek junction.
To address these changes, she underwent lower lid blepharoplasty to remove excess fat, fat transfer to the lower lid/cheek junction, and TCA chemical peel to improve lower lid skin texture.
She is shown before and 6 months after surgery.
