UltraClear Treatment Overview
- Consultation: Every treatment starts with a consultation to ensure you are matched with the best option for your goals.
- Preparation: We ask patients to come without makeup or recent tanning. Before treatment, your clinician will clean the area and, if needed due to skin sensitivity, apply a topical numbing agent.
- Treatment: Your clinician will run the device over the treatment area. Each pass is tracked to ensure the entire area receives sufficient laser exposure. This process usually takes 20–30 minutes for a full-face treatment.
- Support: Following treatment, we provide clear instructions for what to avoid as your skin heals. If you have more treatments to complete, we can schedule them out before you leave.

UltraClear FAQs
When will I see results?
UltraClear delivers results in two stages. The initial results are visible within a few days of treatment, once any redness or swelling fades. All the while, collagen remodeling is going on under the surface. As it progresses, you should notice continued improvements over the following months.
Full results will also depend on where you are at in your regimen. For most patients, 1–3 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart is the norm. With each subsequent treatment, you should see further improvements to your cosmetic concerns.
How long do results last?
UltraClear can provide benefits for up to 2+ years. However, the total duration will reflect factors like your age, lifestyle, treatment intensity, and overall health. Lighter treatments tend to provide about 6 months of benefits, while deeper regimens potentially provide years. Ways to help prolong your results include:
- Staying hydrated
- Maintaining a good skincare routine
- Attending maintenance UltraClear treatments (often 1 every 6 months)
What is the recovery like?
With UltraClear, patients rarely need any concrete downtime. Instead, the recovery process involves mostly avoiding irritants and strenuous activity to let your skin recover. With lighter treatments, patients usually have about 2–4 days of mild redness/swelling followed by skin flaking. With deeper treatments, this can take around 5 days.
Is UltraClear right for me?
UltraClear’s viability for all skin types makes it suitable for most patients. When considering UltraClear, we look at three main components for candidates:
- Skin Health: Patients will need to have no active skin infections or inflammation.
- Concern Type: While UltraClear’s function is extensive, we want to ensure it is a good match for the concerns you have.
- Concern Severity: Nonsurgical treatments like UltraClear are best for mild to moderate concerns. Patients with more notable signs of aging may want to consider surgical approaches. We are always forthright about what UltraClear can do and its limitations, ensuring alignment with patient expectations.
Our goal is to listen carefully, understand, and address your unique concerns, leaving you ecstatic about your results.
